Rather than bombarding readers with statistics, C.D. Carter examines fantasy football through a wider lens. His anecdotes and their messages are unlike the industry’s standard, time-sensitive articles that are normally defunct just one week later. He provides you with tools that will remain useful for a lifetime.

Carter takes you on a journey that draws from his own experiences and may be uncomfortable at times, but ultimately illuminates a path that leads to becoming a winner. If you’re committed to developing a winning mindset that not only sharpens your game, but stretches beyond fantasy sports, then look no further than How To Think Like A Fantasy Football Winner.

If you love fantasy football and you love winning, then you’ll love this book. You can purchase the Kindle Edition on Amazon for just $3.99.

Still unsure? Check out this excerpt that may change your mind:

Every fantasy owner has faced decisions involving players to whom they’ve become attached on some strange level that is probably impossible for the layperson to understand.

The fear of losing these players in a trade, even when that trade is so clearly in our favor, triggers that very same endowment effect, prompting us to value said player much more than our league mates. This might be because the player is a hometown hero, a waiver wire stud who has rewarded you handsomely, or a keeper league favorite who you’ve owned since his rookie year.

The reason doesn’t matter. Your valuation process is based, at least partly, on fear of losing the player. It’s a natural occurrence , as the neuroscience experiments showed, but it’s one we should be cognizant of when we make difficult decisions during football season.

Carter, C.D. (2025-05-30). How To Think Like A Fantasy Football Winner (Kindle Locations 658-665). Kindle Edition.
